Dr. Hoffer is a professor of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at SFU, a world leading expert on implantable neural interfaces and the inventor of Lungpacer's transvascular nerve stimulation electrode. He has a Ph.D. in biophysics from Johns Hopkins University, several granted patents, 14-year experience in medical device prototype development and commercialization in collaboration with the SFU-IO, and prior experience as the founder and CSO of Neurostream Technologies Inc. in 1997 and a co-founder of Bionic Power Inc. in 2007.

David Christie is the president and COO of Lungpacer Medical Inc. Mr. Christie is a global medical device executive and consultant with broad and deep experience in all areas of the industry. He has an MBA from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Montana and 23 years of experience in medical devices sales, sales management, operations, general management, regulatory affairs and quality assurance, reimbursement, manufacturing, marketing, product and business development, intellectual property protection, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and executive leadership.

Ian Hand, MBA, CHRP, CMA is the Associate Director of Simon Fraser University's Innovation Office and SFU's Nominee Director and Acting CFO of Lungpacer Medical Inc. Mr. Hand has 18 years of technology company business development, intellectual property, financing and investment experience, including advising numerous venture, private equity and corporate strategic equity-backed spinouts and startups in the ICT, internet, advanced materials, energy and health science sectors, securing $750 million in investment and managing a private investment firm.

Viral Thakkar is Lungpacer Medical Inc's Senior Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer. Viral holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, India, and 8 years of experience in managing and executing projects in R&D, product development, process improvements and cost reduction in medical device companies in the USA.
